It is with sadness and much gratitude that Bridges says good-bye to board member, Sean Gabrio. Sean is a Senior Vice President at Pacific Wealth Group and brought his expertise to the board in 2015. He helped stabilize the school financially and then guided it through its move downtown and the period of growth that followed. As Treasurer, Sean was instrumental in developing and reviewing Bridges’ financial reporting, and no tax filing, budget review, or cash flow analysis was complete without his incisive and insightful comments.
Sean shared a particular affinity for Bridges students. Desi Pritchard tutored his daughter so he saw first-hand what kind of results the right supports can yield. He was steadfast in his dedication to bring those supports to as many students as possible. In addition to joining the board and serving as its Treasurer, he supported every fundraiser and donated most of the wine our community drank at the last five auction galas. Sean’s intelligence, commitment, and contagious smile will be missed, and we are grateful for his service.
